Sam Sanchez is an accomplished restaurateur with an extensive background in the hospitality industry, spanning concept development, bar and restaurant management, operations, new product and menu development, advertising, marketing, and promotions. In 2015, he was honored as Restaurateur of the Year by the Illinois Restaurant Association.

Restaurant Group Leadership & Expansion
Mr. Sanchez is the principal partner of a multi-unit, multi-million-dollar restaurant group, overseeing all operations and business development for Moe’s Cantina (two locations), Old Crow Smokehouse, Tree House Chicago and Tunnel. He has built and opened two Old Crow Smokehouses in California as well as Banko Cantina in West Palm Beach, Florida. He also directs the future growth and expansion of all brand concepts.
Additional Business Ventures
In addition to his restaurant ventures, Mr. Sanchez owns EMC Construction, a full-service construction company specializing in both renovations and new development, and Third Coast Hospitality, a staff-management and personnel-training company.
Life Beyond Business
Mr. Sanchez has been married to his wife, Marga, for 37 years. Together, they have three daughters: Korina, Samantha, Camila; and one granddaughter, Penelope.
